Ashley Drew Fisher is a choreographer, dancer, actor and singer, born in raised in Los Angeles. She has an extensive background in jazz, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, hip-hop and tap dance. She has danced and acted in commercials, feature films, and on stages such as the Hollywood Bowl. She was a member UCI’s anteater Jazz dance team, CADC hip-hop crew, and she studied dance at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine. She has studied under Donald McKayle, Sonya Tayeh, Brian Friedman, Wade Robson, and Mia Michaels. She has worked with the likes of Debbie Allen, Drake, the Gap band, Louis Logic, Microsoft, Youtube, Thomai Hatsios, Kevin Connelly, Tom Holland, and Craig Gillespie. She teaches intensive courses for studios throughout LA and Orange County, and at Pepperdine University. She taught for ten years at Fancy Feet Dance Studio, for five at Dancestar Malibu, and she is in her fifth year as a member of the dance department staff at the Archer School for Girls. As an actress she most recently played Vickie Gotti opposite John Travolta, and Kelly Preston in the feature film The Life and Death of John Gotti (2018). She is also a member of “The Moaning Myrtles” musical theater improvisation group formed out of Upright Citizens Brigade. Ashley Drew believes that art creates healing and is a platform on which we can transform ourselves individually, as well as create compassion and understanding for the human condition within society.
