Sophie dance westside players

Miss Kat grew up on the east coast and dreamt of being a Broadway star one day.  She was always in rehearsals for a new play or musical, and the youth theatre she grew up at was an integral part of her childhood.  She always wanted to bring youth theatre back into her life somehow and she mentioned this to Miss Sophie and the rest is history!

Are your dancers ready to put their singing and acting skills on display?  Sophie Dance Westside Players will have a Fall and Spring musical every year!

Each group will have rehearsals every week leading up to our big performance weekends!  

Session Dates: September 3rd - December 22nd

Closed: November 26th - December 1st (Thanksgiving Break)

Broadway Babes / Age 5-7

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 4-5:30pm

Extra Audition Day:  Sunday, September 8th / 12:30-2pm

Dress Rehearsal:  Friday, December 6th / 3:30-7:30pm

Performances: 

Saturday, December 7th at 2pm & 4pm at The Pico

Thriving Thespians / Age 8-12

Rehearsals: Thursdays 4-6pm

Extra Audition Day:  Sunday, September 8th / 2-3:30pm

Dress Rehearsal:  Friday, December 13th / 3:30-7:30pm

Performances: 

Saturday, December 14th at 2pm & 4pm at The Pico

In the weeks after the show, we will learn new acting exercises and, play theatre games, and practice scene work!
