Delaney Blume grew up in Orlando, FL. She began her dance training at the age of two where she trained heavily in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. Delaney danced competitively from the age of seven to eighteen. She has participated in Flip the Switch, Urbanity Dance Company’s intensive twice, Urban Legends Commercial Intensive, attended numerous dance conventions, along with having the opportunity to travel and assist choreographer Christopher Robbins throughout the southeast region. Delaney attended Jacksonville University, graduating Spring of 2021 Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance and minor in Business Administration. While here, she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Jennifer Archibald, Brian and Scott Nicholson, Carlos Garland, along with many others. Delaney is a teaching artist with Conga Kids in LA where she teaches social dance and culture to elementary students. She is also a working choreographer and has received multiple choreography and creative artist awards for her works the past four years. Delaney lives in Los Angeles, CA where she currently trains heavily under Brian Nicholson and is pursuing a career in commercial dance. In her free time, she enjoys watching a good movie, collecting classic rock vinyl’s, and cooking vegan delicacies in the kitchen!
