MisS JULIA
Miss Julia is a dancer, filmmaker, and social media manager from Nokesville, Virginia. After graduating from James Madison University with degrees in Dance and Digital Video and Cinema, she headed to the West Coast ready to start her post-grad life. She has been working with the Sophie Dance team and the Sophie Dancewear brand for 3 years now and is excited to be joining the team in person! Her performance credits include the 2012 and 2014 Miss America Parades, 2013 Disney Christmas Parade, and the 2017 Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida. She has worked with choreographers such as Miguel Perez, Jacob Brent, Matt Pardo, Javier Padillas, and Raynor Van Der Merwe.
During her time in school, she worked for companies such as ESPN+ and volunteered with the non-profits Girls On The Run and Circle of Sisterhood. She is an active baker and coffee lover and will talk to anyone about her love of romantic comedies. She is a huge college football fan (Go Dukes!) and is thrilled to get to know each and every dancer who crosses her path.
