Lacy grew up in Colorado and made her way to La La land when she 18. With just her
car, $800 and big dreams. She is an Actress/Screen Writer/Singer and an Acting
Teacher/Coach at The Imagined Life Studio for professional actors in Los Angeles. She has had the fortune to work professionally as an actress in film and television and has brought to life many incredible plays for the stage. For a time, she played at venues in Hollywood with her band “The Fugitive Kind”, showcasing her powerful voice and soulful expression through blues rock n’roll and jazz. Lacy’s most recent short film has received multiple honorable mentions for screen writing festivals around the world.
Lacy has been caring for children since she was very young. Nurturing little kiddos and
being a part of their development is something she has always firmly believed in. The
gift of having such a big compassionate empathic heart is what makes her excel as a
teacher and artist. Lacy believes that art is a way of living, a way of seeing and being in
the world and through artistic expression we have the capacity to transform the
collective hearts and minds of others. Lacy believes that loving others is quite possibly
the most creative act and the most important task as human beings. Though she is not
a professional dancer, dance has always been an important aspect of her life and she
believes deeply in the expression of the body through movement to heal ourselves.
She is beyond grateful to have been welcomed into the Sophie Dance family where she
gets to impart her heart to this amazing staff and beautiful families!
