Miss Lexi
Hi all, I am Miss Lexi and I am originally from a small town in upstate New York. This is where my love for dance originated. I have been dancing since the age of 5 and have danced competitively for 14 years. I am trained in ballet, point, tap, modern, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. Growing up I’d spend hours after school in the dance studio. I was trained at Dance Works Studio in Utica New York under Tricia Zegarelli and Juliana Muirhead. My love for dance never shifted even as I grew up. I only learned to respect and enjoy the art form that much more. When I was in high school, I was invited to compete against Abby Lee Dance Company and appeared on the show ‘Dance Mom’s’ two seasons in a row as a competitor for the dancers. Fun Fact: I beat them both times!! I have danced with and taken class from many world-renowned chorographers in New York as well as California. I moved out to California in 2022 to continue my dance education and learn about a new city. I am currently growing my dance education at Millennium Dance Complex as a work study. I am excited to be teaching and dancing with you all at Sophie Dance. Let the learning and love for dance begin!
